About this worksheet

This kindergarten handwriting worksheet completes the alphabet with the letters N through Z. Each row shows a solid model of the uppercase and lowercase letter, followed by dotted letters to trace on primary-style writing lines with a dashed midline. It is designed to follow our Letter Tracing A-M worksheet, so children who finish the first half of the alphabet can continue with the same familiar format.

How to use it: say each letter's name and its most common sound as your child traces. Show where each stroke begins, usually at the top, and encourage smooth, steady lines. Several letters in this set need extra attention. Lowercase p, q, and y have tails that drop below the baseline. Lowercase t is a little shorter than tall letters like l. Uppercase letters with diagonal strokes, such as N, V, W, X, Y, and Z, can be tricky, so slow down and trace them more than once if needed. Keep sessions short, about five to ten minutes, and praise effort as well as neatness.

The answer key shows each letter pair written neatly, which you can use to talk about size, spacing, and staying on the lines. This worksheet supports Common Core standard L.K.1.a (print many upper- and lowercase letters). For extra practice, have your child write their own name and circle any letters from N to Z.
